２０１１年、あと２日で終わります。
毎年、あっという間！と言い続けていますが
本当にアッ！という間です。
皆様には大変お世話になりました。

今年の初めは、確か記憶に正しければ（怪しい！）
新年会から始まり、色々なイベントの
プランを立てたりしながら
バタバタと過ぎ去っていった気がします。
そして、３月の震災。
そこから色々と自分の中の日本であったり、
自分の音楽に対する姿勢やら、
日本との関わり方が変化していきました。
七夕のYuming Things 2、
アルバムのレコーディング、
恒例の秋の日本でのライブ、
先日のNippon Song。
沢山の出会いがありました。
そして、これらは全て、
自分の中で、何か繋がるというか、
来年、２０１２年の土台になっていくような
そう思わせる何かがあります。

世の中には沢山のミュージシャンが
何かを表現するというアートの一端を担っていて、
自分はその中の、何万といるミュージシャンの一人なわけですが、
ワタシだから出来ること、
ワタシだから歌えること、
というのを
信頼できる仲間と一緒に創り続けていきたいと思います。

来年も宜しくお願い致します！

来年のライブは、Upper Westにある
Symphony Space併設のBar Thaliaというところから
始めます！
１月１７日（火曜日）夜９時から、２セット。

Mamiko 2+1 at Tomi Jazz.
Why in the world I don’t write as Mamiko 3?
Ah… I don’t know exactly!
Just look better? Perhaps.
BTW, in this month’s Tomi Jazz’s ad on hothouse magazine says Mamiko 4
- sorry for those who expected Tomo’s appearance.
For this time, we’ll do trio.
You will see him in next year with us.
I will promise to set opportunities!

Anyhow, this Thursday, Toru, Steve, and I will be at Tomi Jazz.
This will be my final performance in this year (as a public event.)
I really want you to find the time and join us
(to have drink, eat, laugh, and all fun stuff, of course.)

BTW, I have received so many compliments on this Toru/Mamiko headshot
that used for the flyer. Thank you very much.

He visited NY at the end of September, attended on one of recording dates,
and even took our headshots!
