I love doing the web stuff on my own, but it is getting to be too much to handle in these days. Then, I have reached to a conclusion: I will make this mmkmmk.com’s blog into a bilingual blog to consolidate 2 of my websites.

Relfecting my decision above, I will say goodbye to my Japanese blog (a.k.a. “Feel.Write.Read”), the one on FC2 server, very soon. It is a bit overwhelming to delete almost of all my “nikki” entries, but maybe now is a good time to do it. 

For those who are not familiar with my Feel.Write.Read website, Feel.Write.Read is my oldest website that I have started writing online diary (”nikki”) from Fall of 1998.  It is definitely a piece of my history, and all are written in Japanese. I am testing Japanese Text on this blog…

Long time no see. I sincerely hope that you all are doing great.  My god, this year’s allergy season was bad (perhaps the worst ever in my life?). Now, the Memorial Day was passed, and I am ready for the Summer (really?).

I admit that I was kind of quiet in these days since the last Fall.  Call me hermit if you may. In one night, some lady came up to me and she said that she was wondering where I was and thought perhaps I have quit music. It was nice to know someone thought of me and wondering my whereabout.  OK.  To keep the record straight, I am still engaging in music.  I am still singing.  Thank you:) 

Here is the news.  I will be at Kitano New York’s lounge on Wednesday, July 23rd.  Unless there’s any major change (or conflict), Dan Nimmer, Dave Wong, and Pete Van Nostrand are with me on this gig. My very best, possible band formation that I can present, and it must be your favorite as well.  I would love to ask you to mark your calendar today - I know, I know. The gig is more than month away, but it is less than two months away!

This Tuesday, I will be singing at Sweet Rhythm double billed with a great singer and friend of mine, Mari Koga.  Also, Dan Nimmer Trio will back us up - how can we ask for more than this?

The show starts at 8PM and 9:30PM - only 2 sets. If you come to the 1st show, you can stay for the next set.  If your schedule allow, please come to the 1st one and enjoy the 2nd one as well.  If you are too busy, why don’t you come to the 2nd set.  The 2nd set is as great as 1st set anyway! (FYI, we have a different selection of songs for each set.)

Music charge is $15 and $10 minimum is required. Sit, relax, and enjoy music with few drinks!
